With Harry Harding being released from Reading he has apparantly got a few options for other clubs. My question: Is there a particular player that you would like to see us sign, bearing in mind realistic budget etc. I would have to plump for Wes Foderinhgam, either permenant if poss or on a season long loan. I thought he was vital in the opening games of last season and was worth 10 if not more of the opening 21 points from the first 7 games.

It's hard to know whether Harry will get picked up by a bigger team than us. I guess it's for people far more knowledgeable than me to decide that. He wasn't always that impressive for us, but he should still be able to improve a lot as a player, & TBH sometimes his game isn't best suited to certain opposition teams in this league. Big strong teams I'd rather have someone like Peter Adeneyi, but against teams who try & play, I'd happily have harry in my team & of course it depends on the quality & desire of players around him. One thing to bear in mind with Harry is passion for Bromley - I believe that at this level, someone with real passion for a club is worth a good few % on top of any natural ability. So many players move around frequently at this level that there aren't many with real passion for their club - given for some reason Tutu doesn't get given the captains armband, I'd have given it Harry sometimes because along with Tutu, he's the one trying to gee up players up.
But totally agree with you, Foderingham would be my 1st choice on loan if possible, though wouldn't mind Butler back in goal given Holloway seemed to be quite injury prone. Ali C has been released I think, wouldn't mind seeing his skills again, & same with Peter Adeneyi if his legs are still good on a regular basis rather than just that game against us!

Wes Foderingham for sure, we need a solid keeper, then Peter Adeniyi for some class in midfield. Certainly wouldn't have Chabaan back, his attitude stank when he came back from his 'HM Holiday'. Ryan Dolby would be a welcome face back at HL too, if not then maybe Tyrone Sterling from Cray.

Not sure mate, he's decent at Ryman Premier level, but it's a big step up for strikers.

Some good shouts here, but one question are we confident we have the strike power to score the goals needed?

Mikeyh's 4 shouts added to our defence from last season plus Harry and McKenzie would be a cracking start.

Yep, agree with exiled....
Would defo keep Tutu, Sobers, Graves, Fray, Harwood, Dunk (if he doesnt find a new club), Harry (if he wants in) and Mckenzie...build from there.
I would go for John Main incidentally, yep I said it!

Think you said what a few of us were thinking mash! I reckon Main would want silly money though, wouldnt he?

And would be permanently offside!!! I'd like to know what his goalscoring record at the level is as it seemed to me that Norbiton brought in the likes of Kedwell and Main barely got a start when they stepped up to this level? Or this just my natural bias taking over!?!
Mikeyh's calls are top notch. Toots and Peter in the middle, Dolby and Faz out wide. I'd love Sanchez Ming but I understand he is out of our price range. We definitely need a bit of pace up front though and a regular goalscoring threat.

In Main's defence he scored 30 odd in BSS for Norbiton then double figures in first season in BSP.

Effionng is a great shout, if Main wanted to come then why not, but I bet he'd want a lot of money. If we could choose any syriker I'd gor for Manny Williams who always looks good against us.

Ryan Dolby?

We probably only need a solid left back which Dolby would fit the picture for, but the reason why Dunk became so vital t us is that we had NO creativity elsewhere on the pitch...that needs to be addressed.

One player we've missed out on according to the South London Press:
And we can reveal Dulwich Hamlet's first signing of the summer - Peter Adeniyi on a free transfer from Eastleigh.

Absolutely gutted to have missed out on Peter. It's looking grim right now, the club need to appoint someone and get it sorted so the new mangement can get a team together.

with all due respect to Dulwich, you'd have to hope this isn't a signing we have 'missed' out on? Dulwich are lower than us, & even with their player sales last year you'd assume operating on a lower budget, so you'd assume the club have better targets in mind. I think Peter started out at Dulwich before heading south & then to us, so i guess there's a bond there.

He did start at Dulwich and two of his best mate's, Gavin Rose & Junior Kadi are the manager and assistant. Not to mention Francis Duku at the back... Like a Dulwich old boys reunion!!! (let alone a Bromley one when you add Gary Drewett!)

Lorraine from Ebbsfleet ? A decent centre half who we could have as captain (and maybe we could try not to repeat the complete balls up when we lost our captain and best defender last season)

Whilst I totally agree with you about the merits of Lorraine, I wouldn't have thought he's a realistic target for one second? TBH Harwood & Sobers wouldn't be a bad partnership & I don't think defence is really the problem, we've got to replace Tony Finn with a goal creator & presumably need a goalscorer too. On the subject of defenders, I believe Palace have released Jerry Nnamani.

Given that Hayden Bird told fans at the end of the season that we had signed Riviere and Adeniyi on for next season, then 1) we did miss out and 2) it shows the level of hot air (to keep it in polite terms) that the guy spouted.
Noticed on BBC yesterday that Gillman has not re-signed for Dover. I think he's a more realistic addition at the back.
