So it was mentioned on other threads about contracts, who should and who should not get one etc. In the article after Mondays final in was mentioned that Dunk had been offered inproved terms to stay next season (dont know if this is real or not). If he has its about the only player i would agree with at the moment. But for me, what to do with Wazza? he has underperformed big time this season, but remains the 3rd highest scorer in this league (i think?) So could we maybe offer a roll on 3 month contract? (do they exist?) so if things do not work out for either party, there is a way out, and if they do work a slighty longer deal could be offered. I can think of a few others who maybe this would work for also (Graves, Daly, McKenzie). Then that raises the question, would the players offered 3 months take it! but then a lot of players sign on non contract terms as well! Who would be a manager!!!!!

if we were to start next year with the same team, the only one I'd give a year's contract to is Dunk. With players like Sobers & Harwood, although i think they are great for us, I don't know that we would need to award a contract to ward off other clubs. Same with Mcbean, we transfer listed him & no one came in. If he starts next year with a bang, & a Conference club came in for him, then good luck to the guy. Otherwise if a similar club come in & offer £50 a week more & the player wants to go, so be it, some work out & some don't (eg patterson). A few others I'm perfectly happy with them in the squad, but wouldn't be impossible to replace.
the players I'd be looking at a contract for are any really promising ones coming through the academy, (eg any new harding's) though i lose track of what age you can sign contract terms these days?

Think we needed to offer Dunk a deal for one if no bigger club comes in we might keep hold of him (unlikely) secondly it might help us to rinse a few more quid from a club at a tribunal . We have to wonder what players want to stay as well as who we want to stay it is a 2 way street after all. Hope Graves ,Tutu,Harwood,Mckenzie stay but dont know if they want to.

Hayden said that the club have offered Harrison a deal, it's all down to whether he can get a move to a team higher up the pyramid or not.
