Bromley 0 Eastleigh 2 - BSS - 30/04/2011 - Bromley finished their league season with a disappointing defeat at home to a solid Eastleigh side who won the game with two spectacular goals just before half time. The game got off to a lively start with both teams looking to attack. Arron Fray & David Graves both went close for Bromley while Anthony Riviere had an effort blocked at the other end. Eastleigh got tgheir break through on 38mins when former Ravens Peter Adeniyi let fly from 30yards beating a stranded Craig Holloway. Three minutes later Riviere scored an almost identical goal from slightly further out to make it 2-0 and kill the game off before half time. The second half was played at pedestrian pace, with Bromley possibly distracted by Monday's Kent Senior Cup Final, Tony Taggart fforced a save from Holloway while Charlie Ide had an effort saved by Garteh Barfoot and Warren McBean headed just wide but Bromley couldn't find a way through the sturdy Spitfires defence and the away side comfortably saw out the game without any real problems .
Quote for the game, 'Boring!' - Mash.
Bromley: Holloway, Fray, Dunk, Harwood, Graves, Henriques, Daly, Finn, Ide, McBean, Harding. Subs: Nnamani, Agu, Udoji, Jones, England.
