Decent performance from a team down to the bare bones. McBean came close a couple of times (smashing one shot against the post) but had very little support going forward, which epitomised a solid, if unspectactular performance. Agu acquitted himself well on his debut between the sticks.

I thought that we competed very well in the first half but seemed to lose heart after the poor penalty decision and although we had a couple of chances we never looked like getting back into it.
I have to say that Chelmsford were a shadow of the team who took us apart at home in the league earlier in the season with a display of incisive passing and skill. So not to get anything out of the game was disappointing despite the shortage of players. I would be very suprised to see Chelmsford get through the playoffs based on that performace.
