After seeing the announcement of pre season friendlies on the official site against Millwall, Gillingham and Cambridge Utd,
I was wondering if supporters are happy to pay up to £15.
A 25% price increase for League games can be hard on some supporters,
it would have been better PR for the club if a price promotion had been offered on the friendlies.

Its a fair point, I thought that myself! £10 a game would have been suitable and probably generate more through the gate. £15 I think will turn alot away, especially those of us saving pennies for the increase in ticket price too! I also found the price hike for Seniors a shock. Almost doubled from £6 to £10 for a collection of people who in the main are on a static and challenging income. Totally understand that life in the Conference/National Premier is more expensive and income needs generating but I do fear that if we struggle (hopefully not) the floating fans will not return! Fingers crossed it all pans out but unfortunately I wont be in attendence as much as previous seasons now (

I was hoping the pre-season games would be a tenner to be honest. The undertandable price hike for league games means myself and my Dad will have to pick and choose games this season, but that is the price of success.

This is actually upsetting long term fans have to miss out. I wish I had a solution, I can only think that season tickets do I think have a pretty significant discount, though I may be wrong. Would have to work it out though. I'm probably clutching at straws, it just seems sad to miss out on occasions.

That's modern football mate. There will be plenty of people who will start coming now we are promoted, the club won't loose out and £15 is a fair price for conference premier football.

sadly that's it Col, loyalty towards fans tends to go out the window when there's a chance to increase profits.

All, I'd just caution a little aginst criticising BFC, fair enough re pre-season friendlies, maybe a reduced say £12 entry fee would have been advisable (in line with last year), but surely this is the consequence of promotion (which we all wanted) and we can't be overly surprised that prices have risen accordingly. I don't think there is any question here about loyalty, more just a fact of life I'm afraid. As I dicussed a some length whilst at Bath with a few our costs will rocket in National Conference, leaving aside the playing staff, trips to Gateshead, Wrexham etc will need overnight stays, increased travelling costs etc etc all of which has to be paid for . . . . . fact of life I'm afraid

Totally agree Al. I think one of the guys I play football with worked out the cost of follwoing Bromley away next season will be roughly £3,500. No criticism of the club at all intended.

Season ticket saves quite a bit & you get friendlies included too ,if you intend to go no matter what & have the money its a no brainer .

I've got no problem with the price rise in general. The one thing i'm not sure abput was the kids under 16 free with an adult before 2pm but a fiver after.
I've got a 5 & 9 yr old. It's going to be expensive for me if I bring them along as the alternative is trying to keep them entertained for over an hour before kick off.

Yes from what I can work out we'll have to pay for our 5 year olds next season. Agree with Mike, if you have the cash a season ticket is great value.
