Shouldn't gloat I know but... Hahahahahaha! Funniest thing I've heard in ages. As they say, be careful what you wish for. I hear Steve Brown's looking for a job! Bet that's made Cookie and Ben Mays day as well.

Made my week complete & puts things in perspective doesn't it. On another thread there's a comment about Alan Devonshire being a good signing for us next year. But Ebbsfleet's descent this season just goes to show that even if us fans sometimes look bewildered with tactics, that MG deserves a chance to manage at the next level up. A top manager + stupid amounts of money thrown at players helped Ebbsfleet drop out of the play offs altogether, whereas even with the uncertainty off the field, we kept it together.

too right SGC, this year has been a massive learning curve for the management team and they seem to be honest and clever enough to accept where mistakes have been made at crucial moments of games. Don't forget too that a lot of these players haven't been here that long and they've had to bed in fast. If they can stay together for next season who knows, in the words of that great philosopher Arthur Daley 'The world is your lobster my son'!

Looks like Mr Devonshire might end up at Stonebridge Road then. Delighted we don't have the option of throwing money around to gain success. When Ebbsfleet do get promoted from the Conf South in 2019/2020 season the fans may have found the previous few years a rather unfulfilled, joyless experience. As for Jamie Day? well no job back at Welling if Lou keeps them up

What a clinical, hollow statement. Basically says f**k off, Jamie. I don't know the bloke at all, but I think the players had some role in their demise. If they can't beat Boreham Wood, they must be c**p. Perhaps they end up as Horsham have!!Sounds like a non-league version of Man City gone wrong. Good laugh , though

And Loui appointed manager of Welling for next season come what may for them! Well done Loui and damn good luck (although not too much luck against us should Welling stay up!)
