Next Saturday's trip down there is going to be amazing, as confirmed by the whole team I bumped into at Fleet services last night. They were all on their way back from beating Bishop Stortford and we're in merry spirits, spotted my Bromley shirt and then started singing "Campeones" at the top of their voices. Spoke to their goalie and one of the fans and they are right up for a party

Great story... GB is a friendly Club from what little I remember from last time.
The Santa Claus/Honey Monster face-off will live long in the memories of those privileged to witness it.
But more importantly... Will Wally The Whale be in attendance?? We need to know.

It's been mooted that Wallys work is done and a fitting tribute should be he is released back into his natural home. Off the Gosport ferry! In fact the ferry next Saturday is renamed the HMS Goldberg Promotion Tugboat. Ahoy!

I'm surprised you can remember anything CB! Are you trying to insinuate that I was in drink, sir? Shame on you!

First of all, we done to all the lads in our team, they deserved it, a great day was had by all. I suddenly realised this morning, we actually won the bloody league, feel so good today. Next Saturday is going to be one big party, starting 9am at Waterloo station, then Gunn Wharf at Portsmouth Harbour, a few drinks, no sorry many drinks and then all aboard H.M.S.GOLDBERG tug boat, don't rock the boat, just fly the flag. Hopefully we all arrive safely in Gosport,(don't let CB steer the ship). Book a fleet of cabs, arriving at Gosport Borough FC, where the party continues with all our non-league friends. It's going to be some day me thinks. Come on you Broooooooom, in there.

Cheers Jim - that's the train I was thinking of getting (quickest journey £36.10 return FYI) so that's confirmed it for me! See you all at Waterloo - DevonRaven - you in?

I wouldn't miss this celebration party to Gosport for anything. Still having to pinch myself as still cant believe the history that has just been made. Roll on next week as the Champions of the South take their final bow, and travelling Bromley fans make themselves heard loud and proud one last time. WE ARE GOING UP, WE ARE GOING UP!

Sat at the cafe at Clock House wondering what such a meaningless day has to behold - then I remembered the immortal word. ALE ALE & MORE ALE!!!!

Ahoy! Pipe and slippers day today. Be nice to see Wally today. I remember that day at Weston Super Mare when the taxi driver wouldn't let him in his motor and I saved him and brought him home. I did wonder why it didn't occur to anyone to just deflate the bugger I still say he goes overboard the ferry on the return trip back into his natural habitat. His work is done! HMS Victory.
