evening all, I'm planning a charity fanzine, to be out on 7th March for the Ebbsfleet extravaganza, this will tide us over til Col returns mid April with TFT

Plan is it's gonna be a fundraiser for 2 charities : The recently opened Mission Cafe in Bromley (for dementia sufferers, Bromley borough has statistically high population who suffer this illness), see this link....

and an appeal for a young girl with cerebral palsy (the niece of a nurse I work with) for equipment and rehab after her op, see link below

All money collected will be split 50:50 between the 2 charities. The idea is "pay what you want" for the mag, (min £1)....I blagged this idea from Dulwich Hamlet's pay what you want admission for non-League Day and it seemed to work pretty well for them...

Please send contributions to [e-mail] it'll only work with a variety of stuff from fans new and old, the more the merrier, so please get writing, it can be on anything doesn't have to be solely about all things Raven. Also please come up with some ideas for a name for this (at present un-named) mag, a nice bottle of wine goes to the best one. I need to get printing a week before game so if you could get stuff in by Sunday 1st March that'd be great, thanks for your help and time it's much appreciated, am hoping for a bumper crowd that day so we can raise a decent chunk of change, take care, rich

BTW, The Mission café is well worth a visit, it's a bit tucked away, just down the alley next to Sports direct and turn right at Argos, a decent coffee for a decent price, friendly service in nice surroundings. In There !!

agreed, an excellent read throughout, will check out the Mission Cafe as well next time I'm in Bromley. Nice to see a mention for the classic Stranglers album The Raven also,listened to it all the way through on Sunday on my earphones as a result whilst tidying up the garden on Sunday! Forgotten what a classic it was.

Enjoyed the mag ,interesting piece by Mash ,gets tougher to pick all time team every year .Saw Stranglers live a few times even went to Reading festival one day just to see them ,their crowd had a real football fan mentality chanting "Alice is a girls name " etc at Alice Cooper .
