At the end of the season I plan to close this forum down. I do not have the time for it anymore and have better things to do. I will not be handing this over to anyone so if anyone wants to get a new forum up and running and post the link on here go for it. I am looking to do this at the end of May unless another forum is in full swing by then. BTHL has been going since 1991 started by Chris Small (RIP my firend) and was also run by Nick Evans for a number of years. Its been great to be part of BTHL and the once Back To Nowhere.
Thanks for reading.
Mark/Sveno.

I've set up a new forum, so feel free to use it once this one closes.

Just on this subject: would it be possible to lock the forum to new posts while still keeping the content online?
The cultural historian in me would hate to see 5-6 years of comment/analysis lost forever.
Thanks for your hard work, chaps.

A shame to see this platform of expression fall, but fair play times move on. CB as a cultural historian myself, I urge you to spend some time enjoying the dark and twisted world that was "The Pissed Raven", all the historical posts are still there and the link is below: A word of caution to other forum users though, some of the content is 'controversial' and may not be suitable for younger ravens. I have I feel fairly issued the warning! members3.boardhost.com/ThePissedRaven/index.html?1360011149

Thank you, gentlemen.
I will explore 'The Pissed Raven' with great interest, thank you. Just out of interest, was there any connection between this forum and the notorious, now-deceased fanzine,'The Slag'?

No CB, the Back To Nowhere fanzine spawned this forum. The Slag was not for the feint of heart!

Sorry Col, I meant - was there a connection between 'The Pissed Raven' and 'The Slag'? I haven't read TS, and only learned of its existence through your interesting piece in TFT... but I imagine the (schoolboy) humour was similar.
I will admit to being very intrigued by TS. Are there any back issues lying around?

The Slag pre-dated the internet by about ten years. I will have a look at my parents house to see if there are any left at the back of the cupboard.

Thanks for all the work folks have put in over the years on this site, it's been great for an overseas fan.
Funny looking back on the Pissed Raven site. Lots of posts about PES6 on the PS2, yes it was that long ago.

I'm not around tomorrow, so just wanted to say goodbye to this forum and cheers to everyone who has made it so interesting over the last 16years. When this first started we had just been relegated to The Ryman League Division One, now as it closes we are in Conference Premier. We have seen three promotions, four cup wins, three owners, at least eight managers and tragically lost a good friend in Chris Small. Quite a journey. Adios amigos.
