I just started a new thread, shocked that you hadn't already posted the news!
Can't argue with any of the news off the pitch. Everything still suggests that Jerry has the long term future of the club at heart & isn't standing still, but equally isn't riskig everything for a short term gain.
I don't think the Goldberg/Jones/Smith is a bad thing either - we hopefully get the balance of Goldberg's positive style of football, with influence from Jones, & if anyone needs a kick up the backside, I'm sure Smith will do that. That was always our main bugbear with Goldberg/Jones during games, but I can't see Smith sitting there quietly making notes if something needs to be said.

Smith certainly wont be shy of a word...
I presume Jones is asst manager as reading between the lines its about bringing through the best of the youth players

Anyone got any thoughts as to what role Jerry will play because i for one hope he stays involved as much as he is now.

Also i noticed that there was no mention of HB.Does this suggest especially as MG is back that he will now be out the door totally?

Regarding Jerry i cant see him not being involved ,he is still the owner & he has always been hands on ,i like the fact Paul Greenwood has stayed on as vice chairman ,hope this is a sign of harmony at the club. As for HB i cant see how his position should be affected he is involved in the soccer schools etc so he wont really be dealing with MG .
