Another comprehensive victory for Bromley with a team of largely 17 and 18 year olds, including a number of 1st Year Academy players. Two first half goals from Calvin Headley, the second from the penalty spot, saw Bromley hold a comfortable half time lead. Third in the table Chelmsford put up more resistance in the second half until late goals from Bromley subs, Louis Regis and Dan Hughes, wrapped up another impressive performance. It would be very sad if some of these gifted youngsters weren't offered a chance to step to the first team squad next season.
Bromley team: 1. Paul Agu 2. Len Howard 3. Kristian Campbell 4. Calvin Headley 5. Luca Johnson Di Stephanis 6. Richard Davies 7. Ashley Wright 8. Jake Britnell 9. Ishmael Henry 10. James Fray 11. Quadir Maynard 12. Nas Magozi 14. Louis Regis 15 Dan Hughes
Bromley are at home to Brentwood Town Reserves next Tuesday K.O 7.45 in their final Capital League match.

Totally agree with that Paul.Just got back from the game and i have to say this lot showed more fight and togetherness than the first team have in a bloody long while.Howard,Campbell,Headley,Henry,Fray,Maynard all deserve to be put on a contract and see what happens with them.Wright i would like to see again as he seemed to be struggling with an ankle knock that hampered his running at times but he still tries and gave it 100%.This lot could certainly give a good account of themselves and our club in the league next season. With a couple of experienced players to help guide them we could well have a team to be proud of.

Didn't get a team sheet so don't know all the players but I thought Maynard especially looked very good in the first half, absolutely ruined Chelmsford's right-back several times...
