Big shout of encouragement to Dulwich today, a club close to Bromley in many ways beyond geography. They, like us, have shared many highs and lows and are a proper old school non league club. They deserve much more than that grim Surrey league they are currently in. I would consider their beating Leatherhead (possibly the only club we played in our Ryman South days I couldn't stand) to be the absolute icing on the cake. Hopefully one day we will get our derbies back in the BSS one day.
Also to Tonbridge - a good day out and another Kent derby. Along with Sutton, Truro and Salisbury they would really add something to a league which was a bit low on big days out this season. I remember seeing them go up from the Ryman South beating Dover a few years ago with a certain Wade Falana running the show.

Exiled. Grim surrey league, they play in the rymans south. Interesting tale Dulwich. Dulwich Hamlet have reached their play off final. They crept into last play off place on final day of the season and were away to Bognor Regis in semi final Tuesday nite. Bognor who had been top all season and missed out on last day on goal Difference by 1 goal.+60 to +61(Met police) Bognor finished 31 points ahead of Dulwich and beat them home and away in the league. You guessed It "Bognor 1 Dulwich 3" they must be pig sick. Leatherhead away now in the final. Who said the playoffs don't make the end of the season more interesting. I would ceratinly prefer a trip to Dog Kennel Hill to see the landlords as opposed the tenants(Fisher) or are they completely extinct these days. Does anyone remember Chris Kelly of Leatherhead or am I the oldest one on the site?

I agree, good luck to Dulwich, an old friend of mine used to go to every one of their home games (then he moved to Aberdeen!!!) and the walk from the station in Tonbridge to the ground, via 8 or 9 pubs is a cracker, so good luck to them too.

What is the Ryman South if not a grim Surrey league?

Chris Kelly - name sounds familiar. Wasn't he their star striker during a few Cup runs in the Seventies or was that someone else? I think they played in green. Anyway, hoping for a Dulwich win today..

Dulwich 1 nil up - a certain Gary Drewett on the score sheet - in our rise through the Ryman, he was definately a memorable player at that level - could excite a frustrate but no doubt a skillful player down the wing..and a crowd pleaser
tonbridge ahead also

Your'e right exiled, a grim surrey league with 18 teams from Kent and Sussex thrown in.
and Gary Drewett had a spell at Carshalton, so can we expect to see him next year?

Chipstead, Met Police, Corinthian Casuals, Godalming, Leatherhead = grim Surrey league, don't care who else is in it. The bleakness of it is summed up there.
Good news from both play offs so far!

Never thought i would want them to win but they are a old club with tradition & some proper fans & in Drewett & Duku they have 2 players who i enjoyed watching for us. Shame they blew a 3-1 lead to lose in extra time . Maybe next year . Well done to Tonbridge nice to see Stoney have some success.
