From official site
Manager Mark Goldberg today confirmed the signings of Lee Minshull and Max Porter.
The pair arrive from League Two side Newport County. Both Lee and Max were part of the Welsh side that finished third in the National League back in 2013, reaching the Conference National Play-off Final where they beat Wrexham in the final at Wembley Stadium to gain promotion to the Football League.
On the latest additions Mark commented, "We are pleased to be able to add both National League and League Two experience to our squad with these two significant signings."

a significant pair of signings, just the sort of quality needed in the middle of the park. As we all know there's one name missing from that list of 16, and he now looks increasingly unlikely to be part of the squad next year. That's a real shame as he has epitomised the spirit of the club, but it shows the ambition of the management for the coming season.

yep, the fact that he's been Mr Versatile may have worked against him, as he won't realistically be able to command a first team place and if further quality signings come in like these two today his chances will become very limited. Having said that he'll probably sign tomorrow and be player of the season! You can never write him off.

Hi all, Newport County fan here. Just posting to say you have signed to of our unsung heroes from our promotion season and our Football League run. The Tank (Minshull) does exactly as his nickname suggests, he will break up play he will stick his body on the line for the club and will chip in with the goals. Porter also was a really good player for us, battled back from serious injuries and come good once his fitness was back. All the best for the upcoming season, with these two in the team you should do well.

You might be right with Danny, but equally it could be that he's on holiday & hasn't signed yet, or perhaps he's unable to commit to the changes needed to play at National level. Tuesday night at Dover is ok, but Tranmere & others would mean a lot of half days at work, & who knows what the plans are for training now.

of course, you're right, the trouble with the summer is we have too much time on our hands to speculate and end up with 2+2=5. I'll be glad when the friendlies start!

Thanks for that Countyluke, that's just what we want to hear. Good luck to you guys as well.
As for Danny he is every bit as important to us as anyone in the current squad and I just hope there's a way he can come back.

Not that I mind at all, but I would of thought that there would of been more discussion after signing these two! We've just signed two League 2 players! People would of laughed at this prospect a few years ago!
We've come so far in a relatively short space of time.

Agree Bromley, but am personally keeping my powder dry awaiting further announcements so we can see the squad in full. If progress thus far is replicated, I'll be singing MG and JD's praises. I do still think Danny can do a damn good job for us (assuming circumstances fit with him) and as a player who's heart and soul is Bromley, I hope he signs. I also agree with Zebra, Sam Long looked good and I wouldn't mind seeing his name added to the list. Exciting times at Hayes Lane, can't wait for my season ticket to arrive and that first pre-season friendly

Agree Danny should be signed he loves the club & has never let us down wherever he plays ,is 4 central midfielders enough for a 46 game season ,get one injured one suspended & your a bit thin there ,i was told danny was concentrating on football for now so no job clashes with games ,cant imagine him not being a part of this ,would be gutted if he moves on #Legend
