To the players who got us a long overdue win today. By all accounts we actually played like we gave a damn which is great to hear. Amazing what you can achieve when you take a few bad apples out of a side and but a solid team out. Lets get another one on Saturday. I think I'm crazy but a 4 hour round trip through M25 roadworks suddenly seems appealing again... ;D

Couldnt go (ofsted are killing me), but really good to hear about a battling performance. Interesting change of shape to 5-3-2 which dealt with the no need to play Finn problem.
Await feedback from those that went, will be at Farnborough on Saturday hoping to see another battling performance.
Well done to Hayden and the lads.

Gotta agree, good solid performance, even at 0-0 I was enjoying watching the game more than as many performances as I can remember! guts, grit along with some nice play really made a difference tonight... although I did worry whenever Thurrock went on the attack, as still looked vulnerable!! well done Brom, now lets keep it up!

I thought the other day that 532 might solve some of the problems with our only attacking threat being stuck at left back. First 20 mins Dunk was superb, & best half for a long time without the goal of course.
2nd half & others stepped up. Ide was possibly the weak link for 60 mins but he was superb the last 30, showed passion & skill to match Leon. Tutu was brilliant tonight, no disrespect to Daly who had a very good game, but why isn't Tutu captain? He led by example tonight. Hope Sobers isn't out for long as he made a huge difference.
Sets out to Finn & McBean what they need to do to fit into the side, come on guys, a deadly McBean & the Finn of early season could really add to this team.
Finally, well done to the management, did see George WAkeling at the game tonight, but these sort of performances & this forum will stay up a fair while!

Credit where its due, well done to HB & the players. I followed the game on twitter and thought the second half seemed to be all us but wondered when / if the goal would come. Carry this into Saturday lads, its a tough game but show the same as you did tonight according to those that went and even if we dont come away with anything no one on here cn can have a go.
out of interest, how many games has it now been 0-0 at half time? Over to you Col.

Love the new forum. Love the game today.
Unlucky McKenzie didn't wrap the game up with a 2nd, which made for a nerve racking final quarter which really shouldn't have been necessary based on the run of play.
Good to see the team spirit back again.

Has to be said that the increase in workrate an team spirit last night was noticeable.
Bromley FC sides for me need players like Tutu and Sobers to motivate the others and lead by example. Makes such a difference when they are both there organising and indeed barking orders at their team mates.
If we were guaranteed that level of commitment from the team next year, and making the assumption that we lose dunk and Harding to pastures new and the keeper returns to his parent club, I'd actually keep the other 8 starting players next year. I'd then strengthen the squad/team by freeing up the budget by getting rid of Finn ( who incidentally I will bevamazed if he plays another minute for Bromley FC this year), McBean and Holloway who both have "injuries". I personally think that mcKenzie has been quite good in recent marches and certainly does give a toss. I think he has looked forward and realised that with the farce that is Finn, and the joke that is Mcbean he has the chance to be the main man next year and good luck to him.

Great performance by everyone, Dunk and Sobers were awesome last night. I enjoyed the fact that we had the three big guys at the back,Harwood being an excellent get from Thurrock,Nnamami a great loan player and Sobers my hero, the 3-5-2 working well. Ive started saving for the new season ticket please guys keep it going to the end..Bravo
