ref blows whistle for full time and we win the championship, its all on the pitch! you cant rewrite the rules of football, on another note a former player of ours is in court this week facing match fixing charges,, but we dont talk about that very much do we? Spot on, mate. I will never understand why something of that magnitude was wilfully forgotten about by the majority of our fanbase. Magical thinking at its worst: let's close our eyes, repeat the mantras, and it will all go away.

Okey dokey my fellow Ravens & Ravenettes, if we have pitch invasions on a single or mass scale before the final whistle the club will be in deep sh1t. However when we win the game (a positive 3-0 I'm going for as Mash would say no chill !) then just be sensible and enjoy, were not going to stop you coming onto the pitch for the trophy presentation or to celebrate with the players!, we have to get the officials. & opposition off safely so please bare that in mind. No flares or smoke bombs. Before, during or after as again the club will be potentially docked points. Then I can get my high viis off, get in the bar with you lot and celebrate until I have beer coming out if my ears. ! #onit #WeAreBromley

I hope the club will make it clear regarding the potential for problems if some idiots tuning up for the glory matches decide to celebrate too early yet again.
This morning I trust we will all spare a thought for Ebbsfleet, who after sacking Steve Brown when in the play offs, spending a small fortune replacing most of the squad, lost to Bath last night to rule out any chance of the play offs. So sad, not.

Lee, thanks mate.... I take it there will be thorough bag searches Saturday ? Call me Krazy with a capital K but there will undoubtedly be some plonker trying to bring contraband in - flares etc - I guarantee it.

It is worth remembering that Swaibu is being prosecuted for events during his time at Whitehawk, not Bromley. Whilst certain things are not forgotten, and will certainly never be forgiven (at least by me) I don't want to see the club getting dragged into legal proceedings or in trouble with the FA. So lets hope that justice runs its course, that any found guilty get their just deserts and leave it at that.

After the push on Facebook on advanced ticket sales I rang yesterday at 4.15 to be told. We're going now but you can pay over the phone and collect them on the day - very strange.
Has anyone bothered with advanced tickets and is it worth it ?

Yes there will be mate along with pat downs & spotters in the crowd. Were doing everything we can to catch anyone. With anything they shouldn't have. Let's just all enjoy the day with no mishaps (on or off the pitch!) then celebrate !

Whilst Swaibu was at Whitehawk at the time this is alleged to have happened, the reports from the court the other day don't exactly exclude us. Thankfully there's no suggestion any match was actually fixed. In fact at that point we were actually in the middle of a spell of 10 wins in 11 games I believe. But the association or even his pic in a Bromley shirt doesn't do us favours at a time of what is arguably the greatest achievement in the club's history. www.birminghammail.co.uk/news/midlands-news/replay-delroy-facey-moses-swaibu-9035361

I'm sure everyone reading this forum over past few days has gist of this thread so apologies, but if I can bore you one more time...reading WSC tonite there's an article on pitch invasions : it is ILLEGAL under the 1991 Football Offences Act to invade the pitch (or indeed to enter the playing area without good reason).... as Jimbo has warned elsewhere, please spread the word and tell everyone to wait for the stewards OK. And of course we have to win game first, not a given by any means, Staines recently blah blah blah

Seeing posts about the Swaibu shenanigans may be unpleasant for some, but it is a reminder of just how far we've come, and how fast we transformed from fighting to avoid relegation to challenging for the title. Now let's actually do the business and win tomorrow! So proud of the boys for their efforts this season, we are so close to making history. If we're 3-0 up with a minute to go, only then will I think about charging onto the pitch faster than anyone can say 'Conference'.

Having had a long chat with my wife last night we have dcided not to bring my son on Saturday for this potentialy historic game because of the possibility of another Dartford type display from a small group of our fans. Ironic given that at 4 he's already seen more Bromley games that most of the glory hunters will have.

Ironic given that at 4 he's already seen more Bromley games that most of the glory hunters will have. I find this incredibly sad Col but as a Dad of 2 girls (you'll have see my eldest regularly at our games), I do understand your thought process. Like you I've felt intimidated and threatened with her at football matches in her very early years, but I vowed never to let that happen at my local non-league Bromley games, and thus far (she's now early 20's) we've avoided any trouble. Your son deserves to see something potentially historic and you deserve to be able to safely bring him. I for one would stand along side you and keep any morons away. Days like Saturday may never come round again, trust me I know I was in the Stade de France in May 2006, so close and not a sniff since!

Col, don't let a few morons who may turn up spoil your kids day. Sit in main stand if you are worried, but we shouldn't let a minority of twats ruin things. If I see anything untoward I will be straight to a steward, if nothing is done then I will take matters into my own hands & drag the Brad Pitt heads out the gate myself!! This is our day not the Johnny come once in blue mooners moment!!

My apologies Lee, I didn't mean that I would actually run on the pitch without the stewards' go ahead. I was only saying it's maybe a little early to think about it given that we need to win!

Col I know you don't know me so my opinion probably means f all but please bring your son. Loosing my dad at an early age I still cling to all the good memories, which include my dad taking me to see my first football match. If bromley win that'll be a memory he'll have that he can tell his grandchildren, and one both of you can reminisce on. Don't let idiots spoil what could be a great moment for both of you.

Col..your post about not taking your lad is one of the saddest I have read in a long time and I hope some of the replies have made you re-evaluate your original decision. I echo all of them.
...and as for you Scottym thanks for blowing your dog whistle in Battersea with your initial post...anyone who knows him will know it will take him at least 10 mins to get over any barrier
..living in hope for a result

The game tomorrow will go off without any trouble, there will be loads of young kids there having a great day out,a day to remember for all of us. We will win and there will be a pitch invasion as instructed by the stewards. Me and my mates will make bloody sure any little scrotes near us spoiling the day and misbehaving will regret having done so. The club is well organised and will get it right.

"Whilst this is a vital game and we understand that emotions will be running high, on no account will a pitch invasion be tolerated. The hard work and dedication of everyone at the Club should be respected and the match has to finish without any interruptions.
Should victory be achieved then the Vanarama Conference South trophy will be presented on the pitch shortly after the final whistle. However, this will not be possible if there are spectators in the presentation area. Supporters will be permitted on to the pitch to get a better view and celebrate with the players but only through the gates (not over the barriers) and only once an announcement has been made over the PA system once the match officials and Weston-super-Mare players have left the pitch and the presentation area has been set up. Please do not make your way on to the pitch prior to this point or the presentation may not go ahead and all of the players’ efforts will go unrewarded."
Enough said. Let's do our bit ladies and gents, and make sure we're in the limelight for all the right reasons.

Bring your son Col - he deserves to possibly see a bit of Bromley history should things go as we hope. It's very sad you even had to consider not bringing him because of some mindless middle class Green Street wannabe idiots. Trust there will be enough of us looking out along with the stewards for any potential morons, although I'm confident things will go smoothly See you there .

CB wise words mate but in the real world it doesn't work like that. Much as I would like to see everything happen without dickheads spoiling the day ffor true supporters we know only too well that twats rule unless somebody takes a stand against them. Nobody advocates violence but we true supporters need to do what we can to prevent any possibility of trouble with the law makers. Let's ensure that we don't give them that opportunity! See you tomorrow and save me a couple of GG tickets!
