Bromley 3 Cray Wands 0 - Friendly - 21/7/12
In the annual battle between landlords and tenants at Hayes Lane for the Burt Durling Trophy it was Bromley who came out on top for once.
The Ravens started well with Danny Waldren going close twice and went in front on13minutes when Ali Chabaan nipped in to beat former Raven keeper Andy Walker. Chabaan was on hand again to make it 2-0 when he pounced on a fumbled Waldren free kick and with Cray still off the pace The Ravens went three up on 38minutes when Michael Malcolm chipped a sweet finish over Walker from close range.
The second half was a slower affair with lots of changes, Shawn Beaveny missing Cray's best chance, but Bromley comfortably held out for the win in a surprisingly one sided game.

Bromley: Howard Sanchez Patterson Harwood Swaibu Dubois Fuseini Waldren Malcolm McBean Chaaban. Subs: Rhule Finn Williams Peach Jones.

I used to be there on the front line fighting the war. Now I am just at home on the sofa keeping score.

Welch is back for the Charlton game. Marlon just a bruise, I'm told, but Wazza could be serious, was going to get it checked but feeling is it could be a nasty achilles injury - when he went off I thought it was just a minor knock and he was just going off for a rest, certainlt didn't look bad to me. Fingers crossed!
