Whyteleafe have been relegated to the Kent League! Not that long ago thet were always getting the better of us in the Ryman League. I never take this current status for granted.

Agree. I'm absolutely loving where we are. Let's not forget though, we've won the FA Amateur Cup 3 times and that, unless i'm missing something (quite possibly, someone tell me if the top 40 amateur sides didn't enter or something. Maybe we bought the trophy a la Man City/Chelski?) , that is an unbelievable stat. We dont make enough of it IMO, i'm sure if you told the average football supporter living in Bromley, who doesnt go to Hayes Lane, they'd be surprised that 60 odd years ago we played infront of 96000 at Wembley and won it 2 other times. Look at how many other Clubs have won the FA Trophy or FA Amateur Cup more often than that. You wont find many. This is the quality of the soul of our club. This is the underlying substance and value of our Club. More needs to be made of it. Past glories provide mystique and that has value. We are fortunate to be where we are due to the benefactors doing an unbelievable job but nonethess we aren't out of our depth. We have pedigree.

Charlton certainly wore this kit in the 70s.

Bromley Reserves had an Inter Milan style blue & black striped combo on the 80's. In the 90's the first team had a red & green striped away shirt for one season, which I loved, but there were only 14 shirts and when Mark Loveday dislocated his shoulder the shirt was cut up and the club had to change the whole kit!
