Point gained???? given a few other results around us we're dragged back into the mire a bit!

To me it looks like Thurrock and Maidenhead to go, with either us or Staines as the third!

Fingers crossed we get something out of Dartford (although cant see it!). The trip to Truro will be tough, then my final season ticket game against Thurrock (if we cant beat them we deserve the drop!)

Wont be renewing for next season - too many "P*ss off" factors for my liking. Will take in the occasional game, lets just hope it will be Conf South and NOT Ryman footy!

Point gained before the match, point lost given the way things panned out. We were always going to pick up less points than other teams this weekend, but the main thing is to get to the end of the day on Tuesday (as Havant are playing their game on Tuesday night) with our destiny still in our own hands, another point (at least) against Dartford is therefore essential. I would have taken a point before the game, and would have snatched a point with both hands at half-time, as our first half performance was so poor. We came out with a few more ideas after the break but it was only after the sending off that we created chances and the game became a more even affair. We were (I think) lucky with the sending off and perhaps with the goal too, but quite a few other decisions went against us so it was probably evened out in that sense. We could have won it when Ginge hit the bar but it wasn't to be. An improved performance will be needed on Monday, but ultimately that is a useful point. Just scanned around the fixtures, Eastbourne should be ok but after today's results Truro could well get sucked in. They have a very difficult last 2 games, if they don't win at Dorchester on Monday, Saturday's game with us will be massive for both clubs.

Well done to the team on a great result - 10 men it may have been but they are in the Play-offs and we should be very pleased with a point over there.

Think Dartford will be a different task altogether as they can still avoid the play-off lottery.

Our key games are with Truro & Thurrock - hope we have a full squad to choose from for those games.

Havant on the back of winning away and a new manager now have 3 games at home. Is gonna be very tight.

Anyone know the latest on whether or not Farnboro will get their 5pts deducted?

The deduction is still on the cards as far as I know but being appealed, not sure when it will all be decided.

I get the impression some players have a bit more to give & are playing within themselves they have to realise we are in a dogfight & if they want to be at Bromley & playin in this division next season THEY MUST DIG A BIT DEEPER. Thought the Keeper did well as did Swaibu,Harwood & Waldren . In the circumstances this might be 2 points dropped. Big game monday we cant afford to lose .

word on the street is that Hak's goal was well offside (it did look dodgy I have to say) - but we'll take it, we just seemed to take our foot off the pedal in last 15 with game there for the taking against the 10 men. At least MG made good substitution (Malcom and Ginge on - both did well, ) with plenty on the clock as opposed to his usual changes with 30 seconds to go.

Agree with crouchm's first 3 points, but don't see Sutton as a karzy it's your definitive non-league ground, falling to bits yes, but lovable all the same a bit like a kindly old aunt who always puts a tenner in your Xmas card.

Final point - and one that's come up several times this season - please please please for F***'s sake stop taking short corners.... we always lose the ball, we just don't have good enough ball players to keep on doing it, someone on the bench take note i implore you. We're up the pointed end right now...sling it in the box and let Hak/Moses/Liam get on it. Still think we'll be OK even to the point where I just enrolled for my first season ticket today. KTF

I'm getting a bit fed up with people having a pop at Marlon. Yeah it wasn't a great free kick after the sending off but who honestly put in a decent set piece all day? General consensus of those I was with was that Marlon was arguably our best player, certainly a damn sight better than our 'much-vaunted' new superstars Thomas and Fuseini!

I must admit, for all the snipes I've had at MG this season, there was much annoyance and bewilderment when Thomas and more-so Danny were taken off rather than Hak and Ali who were having 'mares. But he got it right, certainly leaving Hak on. The extra space afforded by the numerical advantage allowed Williams to get on the ball more. He even chased a few balls down!!! That said, Dartford WON'T be so accommodating on Monday so no starting role for me. Malcolm on the other hand caused no end of problems with his pace and AJ, who looked out off is depth 1st half, did superbly 2nd half when allowed to drift inside off his wing more.

Swaibu and Harwood defended admirably (considering most of the time Fuseini was playing them into trouble) and let's not forget, had it not been for 2 great saves by Joe, one in each half, we'd be half way to the Ryman right now!

Still all to play for though...

Link to Hak's goal. Having watched several times and pausing it at the second Malcolm kicks the ball, the Lino could well have been right... Does indeed look like he's level with the No.17 who jogs out late doing his best Tony Adams impression... Not the best angle I know but certainly looks more onside than it did at the time

Regardless of results around us, lets be honest...we are playing 2 of the top 4 this Easter weekend. Anyone thinking a point away to sutton is points dropped is a fool, regardless of them having ten men (we were one down at the time).

A point against Dartford (or more) would also be points gained.

The reality is simple, its the last 3 games that will decide everything for us.

As i said before Weston 10 points from 18 (minimum) would be what we would need to stay up.

We currently have 4..

Having watched the clip, there is a decent argument that it was onside, I was less convinced before.

Some massive games tomorrow, the results in Boreham Wood v Staines, Dorchester v Truro and Maidenhead v Farnborough will have a big impact on the situation near the bottom. As I posted yesterday, if Truro slip up tomorrow then they are in real trouble (last 2 games are Woking away and Dartford at home) and our game against them becomes enormous. It is also arguably the most winnable game Farnborough have left so if they were to lose and get their points deduction confirmed, they would be right in it as well, at the same time we can't hope that Maidenhead win. At the moment, looking at the fixtures I think it will be Maidenhead and Staines who join Thurrock but that is based on them both drawing tomorrow. If they both win (which is quite possible) then another 6 points will be the absolute minimum required form our last 4 games.

Absolutely. It would though be difficult for Liam to get on the end of a corner as he is almost always stood in the centre circle whenever we get one. Another strange policy when he's such a good header of the ball. Surely for corners Fuseini being back there with Marlon makes more sense?

Defenders did a great job. Keeper as usual top notch. First half dire in the extreme.
We HAVE to put early quality balls (no short corners as previously stated) into Hak for others to feed off in terms of the second ball. Thomas doesnt seem to have the finishing qualities to eat these up. At the bottom you need as many scraps (from which to feed) in the box as you can get and have to play this was since you cant commit too many forward (losing being a disaster).
Thomas and Dubois both seemed lethargic to me, sympathetic though I was to the quality of ball to them.
MG was tactically pretty much there except for my "balls in the box" point.
A point at Sutton is brilliant, the circumstances are irrellevant.
We've beaten Dartford on their own patch this season. We are better now than then too, can we have some confidence please? Seems to me we can beat anyone and lose to anyone on the day. On that basis we've a very decent chance. Confidence should be decent.
Am going to Dorchester but think we can be safe by then. Our contributions vocal or otherwise will all count and this is a time to pull together. Let's do it.
