If true top signing, however given he should be playing at a much higher level, he will need to get his head down and work hard (to return to the pro game) rather than play likes hes better than everyone else.

On the whole, MG has done a good job with managing players who really should be playing at a higher level but whatever the circumstances have found themselves at Hayes Lane. The likes of Ryan Hall & others certainly put in the same effort as less talented players around them & prospered at HL & then got back up a level or 3 again.

His name rang bells, though when I googled it was probably for the wrong reasons I remembered rather than a decent number of appearances for Millwall, but he's been punished now & whilst I expect he'll be the butt of a few jokes from oppo fans, lets hope he keeps his head down & by trying & get back into full time game will assist him in not re-offending again.

Anyone heard anything on Danny Waldren - i really don't think Welling are in a position to progress upwards, with all the financial problems they've had over the past couple of years - hopefully with the new players coming in, he can see a future at Bromley.

He's the sort of player that will only improve with better players around him and in training.

I'm not sure I understand - what's Danny Waldren got to do with Welling?

Exiled alluded to a 7-day approach for Danny Waldren - over a week back. Rumours were floating around it was from Welling...

Yeah I heard that and that he was still making his mind up whether his future was with us or The Wings.
I heard a rumour their wage bill is over three times more than ours, which wont' help.

Well that's that one cleared up then.

Great news that he has shown faith in the club - and hopefully he has been given assurances that he will be in the starting line-up.

Glad Waldren stayed ,we should be building a team around the likes of him ,Harwood,Swaibu etc ,young guys that have talent & commitment . Fuseini could be a terrific signing could be another one to impress a higher level team in the Hayes Lane shop window.Trying to feel positive about tomorrow ,surely we are due a lucky break/win.

Good signing can't wait to see him in action, and very pleased that Waldren has decided to remain at Bromley. I can sense a change in fortunes and this weekend is the start of it.

Can wait to see the team in action when they come down to weston. have my tickets ready to get from Exeter to support the team.

Come on Brom lets get a result this weekend and work are way back up the table. :D

Can't fault the efforts of the club in the last 2 weeks and Danny staying is the icing on the cake. We probably need a bit more cover at the back and hopefully hold on to Welch for more than a month as we have had too many changes in goal this year but I'm feeling optimistic this morning...

Sorry but how can people post comments like "good signing", i have just seen the reports on this individual, i for one do not want him anywhere near our club. Would fans be so inviting if it was a relative of theirs who was on the end of this vile attack. We are a family club, he should still be inside not playing football on a Saturday afternoon. I would rather be relegated than pay money to watch someone like this represent my team. A lot of parents won't let their children anywhere near the club if they find out about this and that will seriously effect our finances.

well said that man,, ok some might say the lads trying to move on, give him a chance, but my main comment would be this SEX attack happened local to us, to a local girl, the fella should continue to play but not so close to the community where this all happened, its has all the hallmarks of a Lose/Lose,,,, elsewhere on this thread theres a comment he might be the butt of ;Jokes!!!! from visiting fans,, very wide of the mark i should imagine he might get pelters from visiting fans that know who he is,

Whatever any if us may conclude from reading what is on the internet, he was cleared of any wrong doing in that incident. He was convicted for driving offences. Don't imagine prison was a great time for him so let's hope he's learnt a lesson

i think you might just find it was Aggravated Vehicle taking,,,, a very terrifying experience i should imagine, i repeat, might be able to kick a ball very well, but its a Lose/Lose for all me thinks such a distraction!!!! PEACE,,,,,

While I understand the sentiments from some about the guy, I would advise 'judge not lest ye be judged'.

Hes been caught, hes done his time and I for one preach forgiveness.

"Don't imagine prison would have been very nice for him", my heart bleeds. I bet it was worst for him than the poor victim. Should not be allowed anywhere the club, disgraceful.

On that philosophy, should people who have committed crimes, served their time and then return to society be permanently ostricised? Why should he not be allowed to make a living? I am not condoning for 1 minute what he was convicted of doing but as Mash says, he has done his time. Personally, I think it is a credit to the club that it does not have the prejudices others have and that he has been given the chance to get his life back on track. There are many players at many other clubs who have done things just as bad (and sometimes worse), but that is sadly a reflection of the society in which we live. I hope for his sake that he has learnt from his errors, that he moves on with his life and that he helps the club out in the process.

I've no sympathy whatsoever for him, looks like he didn't learn his lesson 1st time.Young footballers these days seem to think they live under different rules to everyone else. Seems the days of being an apprentice, cleaning the boots of the older pro's has long gone, & money can buy whatever they want at an age when they can't handle it sensibly.

Ali hopefully has now learnt that he does live under the same laws as those of us who are less talented & pay to watch football. whilst many people who commit crimes probably find it hard to get work, I hope he realises how privileged & lucky he is that his particular talent has allowed him back into work & society so quickly. And I expect him to repay that by giving everything on the pitch & steering clear off it. If not, I hope we'll be shot of him pretty quickly.

My views would be different had he been convicted of the more serious allegation in which case I'd not want him representing the club, but there is a small chance his experiences could even help younger players. All depends on him really....

Seems like a nice guy, only his mum could love..........

Fuseini was charged with False Imprisonment and Conspiracy to Rape in 2010, and stood trial at Blackfriars Crown Court in February 2011. He was found Not Guilty. In late 2010, Fuseini was convicted of Aggravated Vehicle Taking and disqualified from driving for 12 months. He was further arrested on 30th November 2011 for Disqualified Driving, and again on 5th December 2011. He was sentenced to 10 weeks imprisonment for these offences, leading to the termination of his trial period at Eastleigh.

I second that of PJW and wallygator and bt, I am a Bromley fan thick and thin, but this takes the biscuit. I for one will not be going to any game until this player is removed Or has left the club, just say something happened with him, then the club would have something to answer for, Id prefer to spend my money on other things than watch a player like this at the club, 'community club' I think not. Whatever the verdict I will not be seen at the club for the foreseeable future!

Everyones entitled to their opinion ,i can see both sides of this argument ,Lee Hughes killed someone but still managed to play in the League ,if he had been found guilty of the sex offence i might lean more to steve 119s view but as he was found not guilty i wont be doing anything or saying anything drastic. On a purely football level thought he did well today but tired a bit last 15 mins .
