Best draw we could have got from those still in the hat. Bring it on!

Great draw even with everyone in the hat for me. Added spice in our household as my grandfather was on Orient's books. Very excited about this. The Barry Hearn factor ought to provide decent media coverage too hopefully.

Away stand has 1459 seats set aside for away fans, with an extra 2000 if needed. All under cover, should make some noise

When will we know if it's Saturday 12th or Sunday 13th November?

Following up on Graham's post - if there is a way the club could think of which would assist getting the "regulars" in the same section of the away end (and hence improving the noise levels compared to Gillingham) that would make the day even better.

I concur with exiled, the prob at Gillingham was we were scattered everywhere........might mean a co-coordinated approach from fans to ensure tickets are bought together

Hi i agree with Mash, exiled and Steve.

i think having a area were the regulars/ 'hard core' fans can stand and make noise is a great idea. While those who don't want to do that or are fair weather/ bromley's versions of glory hunters can sit.

i feel i can after years of weekly support at home and since i could drive going away matches, call myself a regular. I know what group of supporters i want to be standing shoulder to should with. Since dartford and the noise and support we made, i once again want to be part of that group of supporters and add my voice the with the rest.

sadly i have returned to studying down at Exeter uni, so i cant buy a ticket myself and will have to get someone else to buy it.

So asking any of you regulars if you can please help me out. if you organize a mass movement of ticket buying, so you are all close together and forming a regular block were you can make some noise and get behind the team. can any of you keep me informed with that so i can know when you are going to buy them, and i can get a mate to buy a ticket and make sure I'm standing among you lot.

it would be great if you organized it on this forum so i and I'm sure many others can keep a track of whats going on, or if any of you are interested in helping a fellow raven out email me at. tomdurden@sky.com.

Thank you. any help so i can get to see this game and experience it with the true bromley fans would be amazing. :).

Fantastic draw, especially given there are a few O's fans who follow us as well. We took 1,500 to Gillingham in 2006, I see no reason why we shouldn't match that again. Raise the roof off that old East Stand!

I used to be there on the front line fighting the war. Now I am just at home on the sofa keeping score.

Great draw for any ravens overseas as other football fans down under have heard of Orient.

My dream of watching Bromley FC randomly on TV in a Sydney pub at 02:00am lives on..possibly!

It wasn’t my dream draw, but more I think about it, the better it is. Would have loved a Sheffield club away so we & the players could experience a big crowd as without checking Williams’ stats I’m guessing only Dolan has that experience, or East Thurrock/Totton/Arlsey home to (hopefully) gain another £18k prize money & another chunk of the gate money.

But that leaves about 70 other options & Orient is far more preferable to most. With all due respect, would the likes of Barrow, Accrington, Bury be viewed with real excitement?. Orient is accessible for anyone who watches Bromley, it won’t be too difficult financially for anyone to get there, it’s still doable for anyone who works Saturday mornings, perfect for anyone who relies on public transport, & it’s a ‘proper’ club, with proper traditions. Maybe Barnet would be a better chance of an upset, but I’d hope the players will go there & give it a go still. Orient’s team doesn’t scare you like say Notts County a couple of year’s ago when they briefly had loads of ££, they’ve even got a Cray Wanderers player in their squad....

Actually, maybe some sort of upset isn't so unrealistic - they drew 1-1 against Droylesdon last year & needed extra time to win the replay, albeit ending 8-2 with loads sent off

Orient have a few familiar names ,Terrel Forbes ( QPR), Kevin Lisbie & Jamie Cureton are well travelled strikers & Matthew Spring has had a good career remember him as being a good midfielder . I was very happy with the draw ,good club ,in the travelcard zone ,good pitch ,lookin forward to it .

An away fans view

The Stand

"If i'm brutally honest, I thought the stand was awful. Now I know some people quite like old stands and say they have character, but I don't count wooden seats, wooden floor, lack of a proper stairwell etc as having character!

The wooden seat was just frankly awful. It was uncomfortable and all it had as a back rest was a strip of plastic. The leg room was non-existent too and this posed a real problem when I left to go down to the 'concourse' (I use that term loosely!) at half time - the people at the side of me had to squeeze as far back as they could (and no, I'm not fat either!).

Now, as for the 'concourse'. It was more like a dismal congregating area underneath the stand, and a cramped one at that too. I can only really describe it as very poor, but at least this area was better than SToe Punthorpe where there's nowhere to congregate at all at half time.

The only positive I can think of is that you can create a bit of noise in the stand, but other than that it was pretty awful."

Standing and creating noise seems to be the order of the day. :D
